So in this month's Vortex there's mention of a show called Annika starring Nikola Walker, which... by itself isn't that noteworthy (she's in so many things), but apparently Paul McGann is also in it? He doesn't seem to be a main character, though. Anyone watch this recently? Does he have a big role? Is it worth trying to hunt down to see the two of them together on-screen?

Inside Job. Hilarious. One of the best animated shows in recent years. Cannot wait for the second half to drop.
Also caught the first episode of Star Trek Prodigy and thought it was actually really good. Doesn't hold a candle to Lower Decks, but for the age group it is geared towards it is a winner.

He’s in a few episodes as the love interest for Nicola’s lead character.

This evening I've watched the three-part 'Power Rangers; Time Force' series-finale 'The End Of Time' (don't look at me like that, it's up on Youtube & 64minutes!), on what I've just found out is part 1's 20th anniversary... 'The little coincidences, sometimes it's the little coincidences

Supergirl S06E20 the series finale. Interesting.. Interesting as in good or? Regards mark687 They still went all "sisterhood of the travelling pants" with regards to the tone- but it was a solid ending that if they didn't end the show, would have opened up so many more storylines!
Now to wait for the 6 season bluray boxset to be released so I can add it to my ShaneBatcave.

I'm someone else who has been watching the 'Supergirl' finale. Whilst, overall, I've been enjoying it pleasantly (of course I have), part two has been dragging on for me rather... * And the adventure... Continues * {Spoiler} Lex and Nyxly were defeated about thirteen minutes into a forty-seven minute episode... I've enjoyed this episode fine enough, I really have, but I could maybe have done with a few minutes less 'wrap-up' as a whole...

Throughout today I've been watching Coronation Street's 50th anniversary 'celebration' week on Youtube, (seven episodes, with the fifth being broadcast live). Whilst I do remember seeing the clip of the tram crash around the time it was broadcast (early December 2011, so I'd have been 17), outside of that cliffhanger, it wasn't quite as... 'Over-the-top' as I was expecting it to be. Three hours, I've spent (just shy of) three hours today watching 'Corrie'... Who am I and what have I done with me?!

Star Trek Enterprise, Season 1, episodes 13 - 15
Solid but unremarkable episodes. Dear Doctor features a similar framing device to TNG's Data's Day but is most notable for the crew coming up with an ethical dilemma when they encounter a pre-warp civilisation that needs their help. Archer's speech at the end in which he hopes that some day there's a "directive of some sort" to guide first contact situations could have been handled with a lot more cheese but comes across as a necessary nod to the "future."
"Sleeping Dogs" features yet another run-in with the Klingons and they come across as a lot less subtle than they appear in Kirk's day, but the story works ok.
"Shadows Of P'Jem" features the recall of T'Pol to Vulcan because she is becoming an embarrassment to the High Council because of her association with the Enterprise. Needless to say, it works out all right for her.

Currently burning through the five new episodes of The World According to Jeff Goldblum that appeared on D+ today. I freaking missed this show.

Doing a re-watch of the old 90s aborted TV series "Space Rangers Fort Hope". This series has a bit of a cult status in Germany, since a German actor is part of the main cast (his English is pretty good and THIS is how German accents should be done, take note, BF). I just came to realize how far we have come in the past 30 years. Not only the special effects (which are pretty basic for today's standards, however, we get to see some glorious matte paintings). But also as a society. This series really has some pretty outdated sexist moments.... "Is "miss" the right term to address an unmated human female?" Yeah, it was back then. In Germany, calling a female "Fräulein" (=miss) is now considered RUDE and SEXIST and is not used anymore (exept by old people). I myself have nearly punched some people over using it in a deragatory manner, since I refuse to accept that I am worth less without a male attachment (and I am not normally a strong feminist).

Years ago we had a knock on our door when I was at work, wife had the day off work- a guy trying to sell cable subscriptions.. He literally asked if "the decision maker was in the house".. She was not impressed.. then he tried to belittle her lack of "maths skills" because she wouldn't sign up for 3 months of free cable then "just call up and cancel it"... Her response.. "I am a teacher with 2 University degrees and my specialty is Maths.. Leave now!".
Sexist comments nowadays.. Literally no need.

Yeah, the amount of mansplaining going on sometimes is incredible. I have a good tactic for dealing with them that often gives me a lot of satisfaction. I can act incredibly dumb. I also put on my thickest Hillbilly accent (my German dialect is associated with dumb forest dwelling idiots) and act as if I could not pull a ball of string together. That gives them a false sense of security. And then I pounce. It always gets them on the wrong foot and the looks on their faces.... priceless.

Enterprise season 1 “shuttlepod 1” Reed and Tucker find a piece of wreckage they think is the Enterprise and assume that the rest of the crew is dead. They make an attempt to get home despite it almost certainly leading to their death. There’s a lot wrong with this episode - the chief engineer and ship’s armourer don’t bother to check the rest of the wreck to see if it matches the Enterprise’s specs is the obvious one - but it passes the time adequately. “Fusion” the Enterprise encounters a crew of Vulcans who have been in space for 8 years and have started experimenting with emotions. The only decent part of this episode is the dudebro who tries to seduce T’Pol being such an accurate portrayal of a total d*ck. The rest is a patronising predictable, boring mess. The first real dud in the series for me.
