As far as I'm aware BF usually announce new projects when they've already been recorded or locked in for recording dates, if the first set of 10DA's were as successful as we all hope I'd have expected to get an announcement of Volume 2 (or beyond) by now, that they haven't done so already suggests that it isn't on the cards at the moment, The Churchill Diaries, River Song and CDNM all got 2nd boxsets confirmed fairly early and they presumably sold less copies (though as pointed out getting Tate and Tennant together in the first place proved to be very difficult).

Why does it have to be Catherine Tate again? Billie Piper or Freema Ageyman could join Big Finish.

Tennant might just be busy. Broadchurch will have been filming for most of the past year, he'll probably have his usual RSC commitments and any other TV work as well. He's busy, probably making it difficult to find a slot to do some recording, and if they want a TV companion with him that adds another dimension, with all of them having active careers. Being a fan of something and wanting to do something doesn't always translate into being able to do it. He's a Whovian, he'd just use whatever free weekends he has to do it. But he hasn't. Wake up and smell the coffee. Big Finish aren't turning him away, which means he isn't saying yes. My guess is they haven't sold enough copies for it to be worth his while. Even with a reduced run, the limited edition is still available.

It's David Tennant; he's more popular as the Doctor than Tom Baker!

Limited to just 5000 copies. Released in May 2016. Still available now. That shocked me and has possibly killed the chances of a volume 2.

Although the 5000 copies is just of the limited edition set, and doesn't include anyone who brought the separate CDs (either from Big Finish or other sources), or on download. But I agree that there's no reason whatsoever to think that more Tennant stories are definitely happening, especially if the rumours that he wasn't exactly breaking down BF's door to do them are true.

I can wait till he's 60 and has nothing better to do... ...and welcome to the boards. cwm

Most of his fanbase are probably simply unaware of Big Finish. If limited editions are still available after this long, it ain't a good sign.

I hope that Capaldi and Coleman do some together. If Jemma Coleman does do Big Finish, they can also have her pop up in other ranges as Clara's splinters. A Clara and Me boxset would also be cool.

I like the idea of Clara splinters, that would work in about all the series.

I imagine it would also pave the way for Paternoster Gang adventures and I'd also love to hear more from Missy. I'd enjoy seeing a bit more background on them, the trip to Japan to face-off against Cybermen sounds amazing and I'm still none the wiser as to whether or not Vastra's shelter were wiped out or if there's a vast installation of undiscovered Silurians working quietly beneath Victoriana's London like there are in Antarctica.

As someone said further up the thread, that concern might have some validity if the audios were ONLY on sale in that limited edition. They were also available in unnumbered CDs and on download.

I like the idea of Clara splinters, that would work in about all the series. It could even be a nice arc for a multi-Doctor trilogy in the monthly range. 3 Doctors, 3 Claras.
