*raises eyebrow* I've never heard anyone say Day-lek.I've heard some people say it in a way that sounds like Dar-lek to me, though. Neither have I. I was only joking on 'tom-ay-to, tom-ah-to' with a Who twist! Nick did say on the recent podcast that he has had one or two people say Day-lek.

I think the costume's great. The suspenders, culottes and shirt look kinda "space op-shopper" which I think suits the Doctor, and I love her boots and coat.

Lol! Yes, that's about right! (Oh and those would be trousers we are not holding up with our teeth, not pants... ) # You say Day-lek, I say Dah-lek... # *raises eyebrow* I've never heard anyone say Day-lek. I've heard some people say it in a way that sounds like Dar-lek to me, though. Well Molly O Sullivan in Dark Eyes says it of course

What a night and day..! Last night I logged off this forum around 11pm - did a quick bookface check and up pops the new outfit within 1 min of me scrolling thru.. Instantly I see Mork from Ork pics and Sabrina the Teenage Witch pics.. I noticed there was something different about the TARDIS.. then I noticed her socks, pants and TARDIS are all colour co-ordinated.. LOLZ.. It is definitely growing on me, I don't hate or dislike it by any means.. I just have to trust that the powers that be know what they are doing.. Awesomeness .And now I have logged on at 6:45pm, surprised this pic didn't make any of the tv or online news feeds- strange...

Don't think I've seen this mooted anywhere yet but surely the handle is on the opposite side because the new Doctor is a woman...

I was speaking to someone online who said they felt she was wearing Susan's old clothes Well of course! We all remember Carol Ann Ford wearing dusters and suspenders in Planet of Giants and Reign of Terror, right?

I was speaking to someone online who said they felt she was wearing Susan's old clothes Maybe Susan's top but the trousers are clearly from the Second Doctor's collection - he was a shorter incarnation so they were a perfect fit then...

Personally I think the Doctor should take advantage of the TARDIS's legendary vast wardrobe room and wear varying clothes like the Third and Fourth and Twelfth Doctors did and normal people do; clothes, not a 'costume' - a strange idea which came in with JNT I think. OK, a little late to the party here folks, but ^^THIS!! Anyway, not a fan. I do like the retro TARDIS, but I'm not digging that look at all. I think it's horrid. And as for suspenders v. braces...braces are what young teenagers have on their teeth in order to fix them.

She's not the only one. I've heard actual real life people say it that way.

I used to pronounce it more like "Darlick" as a kid...
Not sure how that happened.
