So, we've talked plenty about his ascension, what his Doctor could be like and even what sort of stories we'd like to see.
But what is something you find, already existing, that you'd like to see changed about the show, under him? Can't be a retcon, and no Doctor sex-race-casting debates here please.

Heh...I want Bernice to make a TV appearance.
I want a 70s set episode where Hugh Ross cameos as Sir Toby Kinsella.
That'll do for today!

New writers, new ideas. More travels through space, far less modern day earth. No more TARDIS as taxi cab for picking up and dropping off companions that want to have a normal life and adventures. You're either on board or you're not. Make a choice and commit to it. That'd do me, for starters.

Less reliance on old monsters. Series 10 has done a good job so far but still managed to crowbar in a Dalek appearance.

Tbh the Daleks' shoehorned appearance this year just lends more weight to the old 'must appear every year' rumour. After what looks to be a fairly heavy in terms of old enemies series, I would welcome less appearance of them. Chibnall should stride forward in his first series, not look back. I just want him to take Who in a new direction, be bold. Just start afresh and make Who his own. Although if he kept Bill, I wouldn't complain.

Ugh... I don't even know! I don't have too many expectations - nothing I feel like the show ABSOLUTELY needs to do differently, besides maybe toning down the hero-worship for the Doctor that RTD and Moffat sometimes got a little too carried away with.
I'd be very happy if we saw less stories set during modern day. Not that we haven't had some fantastic stories set in the modern day - I just think it'd be nice if we saw different time periods more frequently. I'd also be interested if we had at least one season with a more Dark Eyes/Doom Coalition feel - more focus on the series-long story arc, basically. But, at the same time, I think it might benefit the series to go a season without this huge series-long arc, so...

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

A season full of stand-alone stories would be awesome, as would a character who travels with the Doctor for fun and without thought of what's going on at home. However, we had 26 years (more or less, if you exclude Ian/Barbara wanting to get home, Tegan wanting to get home, Romana not wanting to go home) of that in the Classic series and, to be blunt, television has moved on a little since those days. I'm not always a fan of it, but it's nice to be treated a little bit smarter by content producers on occasion.

Heck, I normally avoid any kind of speculation, spoileristic-before-I-watch/listen, or "what do I want" threads, but clicked on this one for some reason and found this early reply... and my thought is: Hell Yes!. Any kind of BF tie-in, such as those, would be excellent. Along those lines, I'd love to have some kind of multi-Master story featuring MacQueen...
But I don't expect anything of the sort. While I grew up with the Classic series, and I love it whenever episodes lean in that direction, I know it doesn't really work for the modern audience, plus longer episode length... but I still like it when I get the feel for the stories I loved as a kid (up through Ol' Sixie's tenure, that is)
And yes, "stories set in the modern day"... less of those would be fine with me. The Doctor's got a friggin' TARDIS, USE the bloody thing!

Darker, longer, gritter storys, bring the gothic horror back, add some shock deaths & don't keep bringing people back from the bloody dead it ruins the dramatic impact of there loss.
Cast a immorally complex companion maybe someone who starts out quite a unpleasant character but the Doctor senses something special within him/her & over the travels we see the companion behaviour & outlook on life begin to change.
I want to be excited about watching Doctor Who again & although i been impressed with a few episodes this series it's can stll do a lot better.

I want Captain Jack to finally return. I find it very disappointing that Jack was never brought back in the Matt Smith and - unless he makes an unexpected Christmas appearance - Peter Capaldi eras. He should be the new series Brigadier meeting all The Doctors and calling them 'lovely chaps'. Chibnall needs to right this wrong and give us some Jack.

No Daleks for two years. No Cybermen for two years. A New Master. A Better Doctor. Return of 1 or 2 old monsters, but only when it fits the story, so not putting them in for the sake of it. No stupid jokes/lines relating to show continuity. A more varied series. 25 minute x 26 episode format (although this definitely won't happen)

I think The Daleks are contractually obliged to appear every series, which is a mixed blessing in my view. It is really difficult to sustain them as a massive threat if they appear every year, and get defeated every year (Steven Moffat's stories have cleverly avoided that by not presenting them in traditional 'good vs evil' scenerios - the 'cow-barred' moment in 'The Pilot' is a good example of that). They are undoubtedly a favourite Doctor Who monster however, and kids love 'em - and kids are a valued and difficult-to-impress portion of the audience. Other than that, I feel Chris Chibnall should refrain from listening to the fans! I think that has caused Doctor Who to - on occasion - become its own story recently, with references to coninuity that impresses no-one outside a fanbase. As a fan, I love the idea of a returning First Doctor, the original Cybermen etc. But there's little doubt that kind of navel-gazing has caused a lot of the audience to turn away from the show. Chris is both a fan himself, and very successful TV showrunner - will he balance the two, I wonder? I wish him well. He has a difficult job. For Doctor Who's success in the future, I think he needs to make 'populist' decisions that will bring back the masses, which means I think he needs to do things I personally will not particular like. But who cares what I think? I'll be watching anyway

Just my personal wishlist:
- A darker, more adult (not in that way) series with scripts that are well written but children can still understand it. - Less orange/teal colour grading and making it look like a CBBC series and more of a film look; I hate the light teal night shots where torches look pointless! How about some true black levels with decent lighting. - Music composed in a way that helps the story, doesn't overpower the scene and isn't reused. Usually we just end up getting the 12th Doctor's theme whenever excitement happens, not even a variation, just the generic theme. Also, the last few title themes and sequences have done nothing for me. - Can someone please die and stay dead! Bringing characters back from the dead constantly means there are no threats what-so-ever. Even Gallifrey and Skaro survived death. What's the point!

So basically you want a TV version of Klein. Or the original idea of Turlough done right. That would be great.

Pretty much everyone likes Jack, from your casual elderly woman watching the show to fans like us.
