The Sontarans are in The Sontaran Project and the Zygons already have an existing connection to UNIT. THE SONTARANS ARE IN THE SONTARAN PROJECT?? Surely not!! SPOILERS!!
Is your argument here somehow that being in a story in this boxset makes it less likely they'll be in a story in this boxset? You'll need to run that past a logic checker.
If these are meant to be separate encounters, I can't see the Sontarans popping up twice.

Story synopses have been up for a while. The cover is new though.

There are 2 Kate's on the cover. Doppelgänger maybe?

There are 2 Kate's on the cover. Doppelgänger maybe? The synopsis for the final story does say that the greatest danger comes from within. I'm thinking either the Inferno Kate (a popular theory) or it'll be like the Star Trek episode The Enemy Within (where Kirk was split into two by a transporter accident, each Kirk having different aspects of his personality).

Inferno is an option, but so is The Android Invasion.

Interesting that Warren Brown isn't credited on the cover (he is for the previous four) and Sam isn't mentioned at all in the synopsis for each episode.

I'm really looking forward to this. I've thoroughly enjoyed each and every UNIT: New Series release, but I think it's extra fun running into classic monsters a bit, so this should really be a blast.

Plot description for episode four sure makes it sound like a Inferno universe story.

If it is an Inferno story, I really hope that since it is Episode 4 that it is a lead in to the next boxset.

Plot description for episode four sure makes it sound like a Inferno universe story. Box art shows two Kates.... So I think we can be pretty certain.

I think a box set in the Inferno universe would be pretty interesting. Like how did the Daleks fare against a more ruthless human race? Would humanity have conquered the stars, including the Daleks and Cybermen?

I quite like the sound of this boxset, may use it as a jumping on point for the UNIT series.

I've long felt like the "Inferno" universe could have been the Doctor Who version of Star Trek's "Mirror" universe and should have been revisited.

Really looking forward to this - the episodic format is a nice way to shake things up and something I wouldn't mind seeing in future sets, alongside the four hour epics. While the Smith/Dorney team is brilliant, I'd quite like to see BF use it's other regulars (Jonathan Morris, Jonathan Barnes etc) in the episodic releases.
We are going to see some development on Osgood/Josh, BF? Right? Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight? (And yes, we all have a good idea where that's going to end, but still.) Looking forward to further insights into the Kate and Osgood's relationship and Osgood's involvement with The Doctor's plans in The Zygon Inversion (and whose to say she wasn't a big influence?).
I know some people have issues with Jemma Redgrave's perfornmance as Kate, but I actually think it's a very layed performance that suits the character and shows a lot of emotion and conflict underneath. I don't have any compliants and quite like her performance the way it is. Where's my Colonel Shindi, though, BF? Eh? Do you know what it's like to have a crush through audio?

Their instagram post suggests it even more strongly. I don't think it will be the Inferno universe itself though. There are more than three universes out there.
