I'm just assuming that the auctioneers are Torchwood under its new manager.... I doubt it. The new manager is interested in acquiring alien artifacts, not selling them.

Finally got around to finish this. Good stuff all in all. Presumably answers about the Overseer are to come in the next one.

I too just started this set and one story in, I'm pretty happy. I love how Matt Fitton took something familiar to Doctor Who fans and gave that set-up a twist that went into new directions. Bravo sir and bravo to everyone connected with the story.

Really enjoyed The Dalek Transaction. Itโs a great little action story, offers a nice insight into UNIT doing something a little more low key (even if it does involve a Dalek!) and makes good use of the team.

I loved Invocation! A well paced ghost story, Jemma really is in her element here as Kate. Ingrid is as great as ever, loved the material Josh got, properly embracing his Auton skeleton. Nice cameo from Shindi too.
And the Lorem Ipsum stuff really appealed to me as a web designer.

Finished the set (except the BTS materials) today. Just loads of fun. Loads of Osgood all over the place with echoes to the future. Loved the eyepatch gag. I don't think that the UNIT in Inferno had heard of The Doctor, while in this universe they have an evil version attacking peaceful races. Why he would be both evil and in a blue box is a mystery to me. Unless perhaps The Master took over from a not evil Doctor's TARDIS? Rampant speculation and I hope the questions about that universe stay unanswered.

I relistened to this again last night and it is a very strong episode and superbly entertaining.iT was nice to hear Lucy Fleming in another role too from her usual Survivors.

Quite a varied set of story, all of them good.
As always with Daleks and people interacting with them without realizing what they are, I spent the whole story wondering when the tables were going to be turned.
Invocation was a great spooky story, enjoyed the premise.
The Sontaran Project: I always enjoy a bit of Sontarans (especially if Dan Starkey is involved).
False Negative: I quite enjoyed Kate Stewart as a sharp-ish semi-bored (I have to check my email) version of herself.

Finished this. It was fine. These are good entertaining stories, and some enjoyment and excitement was had. But I could not say that my mind was blown. I think I liked Invocation best, that was a nice mysterious ghost story. The jungle Dalek hunt comes next, followed by the Sontaran story. By now, I am tired of Daleks and any story that presents them as a real threat is welcomed. Having an injured mutant without weapons lose in a jungle and still being the most dangerous creature around was refreshing. As for the Mirror Universe story.... I usually like these. But this one just... felt a bit forced. And t be honest, Star Trek did it better.
