One non-spoiler review I read is really positive.
I am going to try to stay away from the Internet on Saturday. Try being the important word lol

But we are a good bunch here, and very patient... on other Doctor Who forums people get their complaints in early before the episode has been broadcast! To be fair, we have had that as well . Cheers Tony

Cheers Tony I think it's just so people can get it out of their system before the episode airs. Both the praise and the scorn. I... don't actually have any expectations for this finale. I'd like it to be good, but I think that's as far as it goes for me. I'll know how I feel when I see it.

So Bradley joins the list then, along with Hurndall.

Missy deciding once and for all to become good then dying before she gets the chance, Nardole leaving to save a community knowing they're only postponing their deaths not stopping them, Bill's lovely ending with Heather, Capaldi's speeches just knocking it out the park, Murray Gold's cues.....10/10 does't cover how much I loved that.

That episode just topped off, what for me, was the best series of Doctor Who since 2010. I've just loved everything about this series, Bill is my favourite New-Who companion, and my second favourite of all time, I've never warmed to the twelfth Doctor but this series I've just fell in love with the series again. Bar two stories (Smile and Extremist) the writing has been mostly top notch. This episode in particular was just so well done with Bill switching from human to Cyberman it was such a clever way of telling the story. I was partly dreading the story because I'm such a huge fan of Bill and I didn't want her story to come to an end but I'm so glad it ended the way it did, open for more adventures. I know if she doesn't come back Chris Chibnall will create a new and exciting companion that we'll still all fall in love with but I think he'll be really missing a trick by not having Pearl back. She's clearly up for it and (I know I'm bias) but I don't think I've seen a new-who companion received as well as she has been almost immediately.
The ending...I wasn't crazy about the idea of David Bradley coming back as the first Doctor. I love An Adventure in Space and Time but David Bradley is playing William Hartnell, not the first Doctor. And I still do need a bit of convincing that this is a worthwhile idea but I'll go with it for now and see how it pans out. I just feel it takes something away from AAISAT. Roll on Christmas!

Well, apart from Bill's ending which felt rather jarring, this was fantastic!

I do worry how we'll get closure for Nardole. The Cybermen are still coming. Unless Missy does take them all away in her TARDIS to kickstart Dark Water. Actually yes, I like that. Nardole can live for ever in peace. And Missy got to do her good deed by mopping up after regenerating. Speaking of which, despite whatever the Master said, I hope a new incarnation of the Master will be back in a few years.

Not saying it was bad...it just kinda felt like the script took a turn in a completely different tonal direction with no build up, this was not the part II I had been expecting, will have to take some time to clear my thoughts more fully on this I did think Bill's ending was an appropriate one (if slightly lessened by the absence of puddle girl since the first episode and far too reminiscent of Hell Bent), slightly dissapointed we didn't see Simm regenerate...

The Masters' plan in the opening and how it's thwarted aside... it's the best finale from Moffat since Pandorica.
Ideas are followed through and paid off, the tone is consistent and doesn't get jumbled by setpieces, and we have some satifying but undeniably teary send offs for our companions. Once again, pearl has proven ehrself a real find among young talent and I really hope she gets some big gigs off this.
It does what a finale should: raise the stakes and push our hero to a breaking point.
