Leaked picture of Bradley Walsh as Graham, which also confirms Martha is back? View AttachmentOr, y'know....it might just be a screenshot from the Law & Order I'm watching just now but a fella can dream. I'd rather see Donna return somehow and mistake him for 'That bloke from The Chase'.

A Special of The Chase where the contestants must take on the Chaser inside a Dalek.

While everyone ponders on Jodie's suspenders (don't you even...), I do think it's a good time to also pop the question of what Bradley's companion could actually be?
Given we're going down the older route, maybe it'll be ala Evelyn (some type of teacher or academic) or maybe some kind of blue collar joe who accidentally stumbles into things, like a plumber or electrician.

I’ve always had this idea of a homeless person becoming a companion. If that happened I’d be simultaneously happy and annoyed that they nicked my idea.

It'd be nice if Bradley played something different to his usual persona but the truth is he's really, really good at playing the loveable cockney with a heart of gold. The amount of times he would have me on the edge of tears in Law and Order just with a half-smile or kind word for someone. I don't want him to just play Ronnie Brooks again....but I'd kinda love Ronnie Brooks as a companion. One of the best, most real TV polis.

I think he would be great in that role. I could imagine Bradley Walsh as the cool Geography teacher who implements interactive quizzes into his lessons and wears an Indiana Jones hat on school trips.

Bradley Walsh has confirmed that Chris Chibnail asked and wrote the role of Grahame for him, no audition was needed.

Not surprising, really, seeing as how they've been mates for years and years.

Yeah, I'm really hyped to have Bradley on board. Such a cool guy and a loveable screen presence. Hope our overseas friends will feel the same. I don't think we can stress to them just how famous he is really - it's insanely big casting. Might be the most recognisable companion to the wider audience ever. Well, Kylie Minogue I guess but with Corrie, Law & Order and The Chase it would, I think, be hard to find many in the UK who don't know him by name.

He must be the busiest man in showbiz right now.

Well considering Chibnall was Exec Producer on Law & Order: UK as well as Broadchurch, it is indeed hardly surprising.

I'm not sure how I feel about having three companions. I feel like that hasn't really been done well since the First Doctor's original TARDIS team. Hopefully, this will be more like that than like the Davison era.

They've made Bradley Walsh look more like Hugh Grant!
