I agree. I never want this show to end.

Yep, and a spin-off with Jack, Sidney, Raffi and Seven as the core characters would be positively fantastic, especially since as of right now there are so many ways to fold in a rotating cast of legacy characters.

Also, can I just say how incredible LeVar Burton has been this season. He’s always been one of Trek’s best actors imo, but having Picard and Geordi mirror each other’s journeys in fatherhood has added extra layers to the story that I think makes it even better.

Picard Season 3 really is the best Star Trek fan-service we could ever hope to get. It is 200% fan-service, but it just feels natural. It pulls all the right strings, it is a great emotional ride, it looks amazing. What a feat. I really do not want this to end.

Fan service is never a dirty word when it's executed correctly. I am excited about watching this season.

The latest episode of Picard- This series continues to be absolutely stunning and amazing with fantastic performances. Vadic alone is amazing. What a performance! And Brent Spiner is also giving his very best. Oh, and the very best humorous lines again go to Worf! But why I love this series especially- it marries two of my most beloved franchises. Star Trek and Warhammer 40k. I love the touch of Warhammer 40k horror which is added to this series, straight out of some 40k artwork.
{Spoiler} So turns out Jack is basically a rogue psyker who is partially possessed by a warp entity? And he has the same abilities as my favorite Inquisitor Ravenor? Well, I must say that at first I did NOT like Jack, but with this development? Yes please! Jack is more like poor Interrogator Carl Thonius right now.

Wow, the last 2 episodes were fantastic. & seeing Enterprise D again was great. I really think we are going to get the rumoured Star Trek Legacy with 7 of 9 as captain. New Trek with some old favourite characters.

Jeri Ryan is an amazing and captivating actress and she would make an amazing captain.

ESPECIALLY given that there WILL be a lot of anti-Borg sentiment.

Especially after all that Voyager established with rogue Borg communes or Unimatrices where the individual minds go for a pint when regenerating.

Oh, that's optimistic - I think they're never gonna reference it again. Shaw had one line about this being the REAL Borg and that was very much a "let's forget that happened" moment. Like much of Picard S3.

Yes..but I'm sure I've read somewhere he was co-showrunner with Akiva Goldsman on 2 (it implied he was the junior partner), before Goldsman handed the reins fully over for 3.

I'd just do another series that has this Borg Civil War going on between the 2 Queens

Yes, he said just that on the aftershow with Wil Wheaton - that he's had this idea and wanted to do it. He's clearly not gonna come out and bury his bosses and execs but it doesn't take much to see just how much he's abandoned as much of S1 and S2 as possible. He's practically rebooted it. Raffi exists, Picard has an android body - that's about all that's carried over. Notice Raffi doesn't call Picard "J.L" now? Or that Picard doesn't hug everyone? Almost like someone calling THE shots, not just on the staff knows the character!

Well, that finale TOTALLY stuck the landing. It gave us back what the films ruined, that lovely low key end with the card game, and just enough fan-service (Chekov must be old as Methusela, maybe he was in a transporter accident too!) And anyone doubting Terry is re-writing what Chabon and Kurtzman created now he had full say - he's not only swatted aside the dumb Juradi Borg but now reversed the dumb decision to kill off Q and reset the stardate! And said that Kurtzman's new baby, the Academy show is "not in our Picard timeline". Just one thing....when Shelby was killed, she was on the Enterprise F. What happened to that? Did it get "demoted" to being the Titan? Loved it. A satisfying resolution, something for EVERY cast member to do - who didn't cheer when Data flew on his guts or Deanna sensed Wills dying words? It's so good to know it ended like this. So very, very good. It's the ending we've been robbed off since Generations in 1995. With Disco's last season soon - a show that also started poorly and improved when certain people came in and others left and the ship went to the future and Strange New Worlds already a wonderful show? LIVE ACTION STAR TREK IS ALL GOOD!!! Not been able to say that since the mid 90s! Do not sleep on Lower Decks and Prodigy though, the animated shows. Lower Decks starts mixed but eventually becomes a comedy with heart and Prodigy is the most Roddenberry of all "New Trek" - with wonder, adventure and boldly going at the very heart. And Michelle "Wow" Yeoh is getting her Section 31 standalone movie. Anyone who watches my YT channel knows Michelle and I have a very special relationship!

Agreed. Wonderful finale. What a great season. This was a fantastic achievement in serving a ton of fan service, but still feeling fresh. I loved all the cameos of all the beloved actors. Plus, I equally loved all the open ends and setups for all the series to come. I hope we get an "Another Enterprise!" series with Captain Seven and her motley crew. Make it so! I just cannot wait to find out what Seven's signature words will be!
