Wow, they know how to charge for t-shirts. Pricing is ridiculous.

I love it - it looks sophisticated and cinematic which I'm hoping Series 11 will be. In the back of my mind I'm almost wondering if the opening titles will be ditched. Certainly this logo won't lend itself well to being featured at the end of a bombastic, fast paced and brightly coloured opening sequence like all of the modern Doctors have had. It looks deliberately understated as if it will be overlaid directly onto a scene or image, or perhaps we'll just have a title card like Children of Earth did. Definitely a move I would welcome if it contributed to a more sophisticated/cinematic vibe. Why not just have a really cinematic title sequence like the TV Movie?

So rather than start a new thread, now that we have a new logo. What is everbodies most & least favourite Dr Who logo? This is my least favourite, horrible! Looks like the logo for a cheesy cartoon. Least favourite: Most favourite:

Wow, they know how to charge for t-shirts. Pricing is ridiculous. Appears to be quite reasonable for what it is actually.

The worst for me is the pink neon one from the Trial season. Looks like a kebab shop sign....or an "adult" ermmm "bookshop". Cannot stand the oblong Eccleston and Tennant one. It's like an even worse version of the Death Comes To Time one.
Best....I like McGann's BF one, the gold version of the Pertwee logo. Always like the TARDIS being the DW in the Smith logo.

Has there ever been ANYTHING you don't want to find fault in?

The new TARDIS, the new logo, the new Doctor, The Day of the Doctor, World Enough And Time/The Doctor Falls, Jurassic World, Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man: Homecoming, the Harry Potter films etc...

I'm in the minority here but I actually quite like the McCoy logo...
The RTD one I also love but then again it's what I grew up with.
The only one I can confidently say looks naff is the Davison logo. Not sure if that would've still been the case if I were around at the time but the whole neon tube aesthetic feels quite dated now.

The Doctor Who logo peaked with Pertwee's classic, and it's been downhill ever since.
Honourable mention for the Hartnell logo.

Now, I speculate, after tonight's reveal, that the new arrangement of the theme will be made by Matthew Herbert, creative director of the new Radiophonic Workshop, and having listened to their latest work (Burials in Several Earths and Everything You Can Imagine Is Real), and that makes me incredibly giddy! Probably not the soundtrack, though. Update: After being corrected by the man Mark Ayres himself, Matthew Herbert has nothing to do with Burials in Several Earths and Everything You Can Imagine Is Real. That is "The Radiophonic Workshop", the revival of the BBC's Radiophonic Workshop that was closed down in 1996, with many of its original members. Herbert created "The New Radiophonic Workshop" in 2012, which is something completely different. The new arrangement will still probably be Herbert, though. As Ayres said, it's all very confusing.

I like this new logo, I think I prefer it to the other new series ones. The 'diamond' logo' is my favourite though, because apart from looking great and unlike anything else, it ushered in Doctor Who every Saturday when I was a young 'un.
Least favourite? Sorry to say it must be the 'McCoy' one. Shame, because the title sequence is otherwise brilliant.

Standard T-Shirts can be bought a lot cheaper, a fiver in Primark, but licenced merch is always more expensive so £17.99 is about average for such clothing.
