If you don't tolerate their opinions (at some point in a conversation), then you're not being tolerant. Perhaps, tolerance isn't the right word to use. Tolerance ends when another person gets insulted, discriminated or hurt. There is a difference between tolerance and stupidity (or masochism).
And I agree, the word "tolerance" is commonly mis-used these days. Tolerance is mis-understood as that you have to say "yes" and agree to everything, which is not true.
Tolerance does not mean to stand by while your values or worth (or that of others) is trampled and to never open your mouth- because this is when very bad things start happening in a society.
Tired old example, but the same man who said "When hit on one cheek, turn the other cheek, too" could also be pushed over the edge and become very angry with kicking people out of the temple when his values were trampled- to be a good human being, you have to be tolerant, but also not being a total pushover who cannot stand up for themselves. Its a matter of balance.

No your right. tbh not to go off topic but honestly guys you cant just call trolling every time thethirddoctor writes a comment. Yea he can be a bit of a wind up and is very fundemtal in his opinions, but honestly most of the time he brings up valid points, or at least points of discussion. If the modderaters have a problem, ie things are getting off topic they will sort it. Its not up to you, or anybody else other than the mod team to decide what can or cant be disccused, who can or cant be on the forum.

I liked this one. Nothing earth shattering, but great Sunday afternoon fun! I came away entertained and that’s all I ask for. Jodie was really good as well, to the point where I forgot I was watching the first female Doctor. She was just the Doctor.

Here in the States it airs at 8pm. An 8pm Sunday slot is as close to "prime time" viewing as you get on the weekend, so first off, that's a big sign of confidence from BBC America. I'm an oddball in that the biggest competition the programme has in its timeslot here for me would be...Dancing with the Stars Junior and Supergirl. For most people in the US, the Doctor is currently facing off against the NFL and Sunday Night Football. Doesn't matter to me -- I often tell people that I gave up on football when the Dodgers left Brooklyn -- but that will undoubtedly have an effect on the ratings as the series progresses. Mostly, I imagine in the form of delayed viewing. People will watch "the game" live, and DVR or stream the Doctor.
For me personally, the slot is fine. Sunday nights tend to be either a night home at my house, at my boyfriend's house, or occasionally a board game night with friends. In the latter case, I'll join the crowd watching via DVR as soon as I get home. So far, I've watched it with my boyfriend first these past two Sundays, then gone home and watched again with my mum. It works out.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

The overnights from Stevo Towers are in;
The overnights for Pilot was 3
The overnights for The Woman Who Fell to Earth was 5.
A fairly good % increase methinks... and I didn't even include the cat asleep on the chair in front of the fire.
Jodie is a SUCCESS here!

I could never watch it on Saturday night cause it was still the Sabbath and I don't watch TV on the Sabbath. I can't watch it on Sunday night, cause I have a pre-existing activity that I attend on Sunday nights.
So nothing's changed for me. I watch it after it broadcasts, via an internet service provider.

BBC America was watched by 1.367 million (although I don't know if this is only the very early morning edition, or includes the later edition.)

If you click "share" under a YouTube video, you can share a link that won't start at the end of the clip you're trying to share. Just saying. youtu.be/AHJd9C8VmQw
