Leaving the forum. Thanks Mods. You killed it. No idea who this was. But I know the other two, and that makes three in three days. Not our finest hour. No. I've tried to work it out, but they weren't in the 1000 club list (which is my goto for checking deleted usernames) and I can't find any recent posts from them to help me work it out. A shame as I like to take a moment to mentally acknowledge departing users. If anyone knows who it was, please let us know.

I don't know, but I do see doctortennant is a recently deleted account (posted on 29th December) so a possibility I don't understand what's going on - maybe because I'm very tolerant and believe in "live and let live" This seems the worst trouble on this board since Timegirl was hounded into leaving

Thanks for the detective work. They were relatively new to this place but will still be missed.

Damm shame when respected members leave the forum, just because they showed support for a mate.
I hope they return one day.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

As tempting as it is to visit Australia & flirt with those beautiful Aussie lady's there's little point if I'm stung or bitten to death 😂

I have succumbed and finally subscribed to Disney+
My wife has also discovered their True Crime section which seems to be almost as comprehensive as Netflix’s.

I'm going to re-subscribe to Disney + eventually. Waiting till I have more time to watch.
My internet provider gave me a free year of Disney + a few years back and I really made good use of it.

1999 was the year I started listening to Big Finish with 'Phantasmagoria' (I bought 'Sirens of Time' third, after 'Whispers of Fear', not that it matters).
That's 25 years - almost as long as the entire classic series. That's got to be worth a celebratory glass of something, surely.

Yeah, yet somehow things are very quiet in the celebratory front from Big Finish. I'm wondering if they've been scared off doing anniversary releases.

Two days ago I learned that a good friend of mine died in Israel. We weren't that great at staying in touch (but when we got together we picked up where we left off!), so I didn't think too much of it when I hadn't heard from her in a very long time. Turns out she died a year ago, but her daughters didn't have my contact information. One of the daughters found the phone number of a mutual friend in Israel and the mutual friend let me know. I feel sad that I won't be able to see or communicate with my friend again. I don't even have many pictures of her but I have lots of memories.

Unfortunately today's been rather stressful.
My dad was in real bad shape this morning - barely lucid, unable to get up because his back was hurting so much, and he was running a fever. He's had this infection in his leg that he was previously in the hospital for ten days last month - a few of which were in the ICU - but it looks like it's all back. He's in the hospital now and the nurses were speaking positively about treatment, so it's not all bad. We definitely caught the infection before it got worse, which is good. It's still frustrating that they didn't get the infection the first time around.
I'm remaining hopeful. We've unfortunately been down this road several times now since the beginning of last year and this isn't the worst of them either. The only down side is that all these hospital stays and surgeries he's had lately have kept him from getting back on his chemo for months now. I think he'll make it through this, but it'll be a long road.

Received a direct Personal Threat on my life just over 2 hours ago (seriously). Immediate internal workplace escalation, my Executive Manager immediately kicked into high gear. I messaged wife as she is home with Junior today. NOT made.. UPDATE:
It happened AGAIN today. This "human" called in and immediately was verbally aggressive- he rang a different area and spoke to 2 young women colleague's- the 1st one took it in her stride and reported him. The 2nd, she is a newbie and this was her 1st "incident" he elaborated R rated. She turned pale and started shaking- she was put into a spare room for 15 minutes to recuperate. I then get 3 Team's messages from people who could hear it all. 1 of the Managers downstairs immediately escalated to the Big Boss . 2 incidents in 8 days- shows intent. I really hope the Police book gets thrown at him. According to Policy I am (and now the 2 others) are entitled to 1-2 Counseling Sessions..
5th death threat in 19 years. You always have to assume they say what they mean and mean what they say.
