To update the depressing running tally after the recent debacle, our forum has now lost:
Deleted Accounts
davygallagher stevo
Ceased Posting Audio Watchdog
nucleusofswarm
All longstanding, frequent and well-regarded contributors. There is at least hope that the latter two members will return some day as their accounts are still standing, but I don't think this episode reflects well on DU.
I have to admit I myself also do not feel as comfortable on here. There was even a report against me from someone (I have a suspicion) and the mods contacted me because of my "inappropriate posting".
Seriously.
Well, fine, I take that as a hint.
Honestly, my life is a pile of BS right now and I also have to deal with some major kindergarten at work. I just cannot deal with stuff like this in my free time, too.
In my opinion, some people REALLY have some major growing up to do.
Please don't let one multi-ident troll spoil our happy forum any more than they already have. imo 'Someone' is systematically trying to damage DU by pushing frequent posters off the forum, using "legal" means to do it. They haven't tried it on me (yet), I suspect for the simple reason they know what my attitude would be.
(True, I may have wandered off into the vortex for over two years recently, but that was the Doctor's fault. He can't steer that thing no matter what he tells people.)

"This Is Hell Where In.. In This Hell Where In".. No, I was supposed to have heard from the head of H.R. by Friday .. Nothing.. We shall see what I do tomorrow if I don't hear anything by lunchtime. This is ridiculous. 1st thing I told her after "I had to tell my twin brother just in case he is mistaken for me" was "I also don't want a waiving of the hands and "this isn't serious Shane is big and strong enough to deal with any physical showdown". She assures me that won't happen... Still waiting on a picture of him as there is a pic in the Govt files.. This happened 28th Dec.. today is 14th Jan.. HHMMM

I agree with the other voices on here. This is simply NOT on, not in your line of work, not as a family dad, not in any case.
Maybe they think you are big and strong and look like a certain action hero, but still, you are not the Terminator.
They have to get their A into G ASAP.

Yes..! 2nd thing I said after telling them I had to tell my brother as we are identical twins- for his protection. "I don't want anyone here to fob this off and think Shane is a big ann strong guy he can handle him.. No. A threat is a threat is a threat no matter how you try and church it up/soften the blow"..
After my lil 1/4 size "blow up" as I was leaving the office - today better have a result..........
