Started up my now-regular autumn trips to B&M after seeing some Twitter reports of new sets popping up. No luck for me, just plenty of Ninth & Thirteenth Doctor sets from last year.

Through more B&M visits than I’d care to admit, I’ve managed to get the Revelation Daleks and the new Sixth Doctor & TARDIS. Interestingly the Sixth Doctor’s biography on the box mentions quite a few of his Big Finish companions, as well as Frobisher, though bizarrely it omits The Ultimate Adventure itself despite the figure being based on it.

Wave 2 of the year! First time they’ve used the Time Lord collar for anything since that Series 3 Time Lord (plus Bernard Horsfall makes his figure debut), first re-release of the Remembrance Supreme, and first new series Daleks in a B&M set (which I will happily pass on; battered my old Sec may be there’s just a charm to him).

Will be on the look out for the two Dalek sets. The Deadly Assassin set is fun, but not a must purchase for me. Great to see the Time Lord figure be resurrected, it’s probably one of the best they’ve ever done.

Well by best they certainly don’t mean a bargain! Good to know that Destiny duo is worth so much, nearly doubled what I paid for them on a whim last year. But if you’re really looking for Ninth or Tenth Doctor sets you can find them much cheaper in B&M itself these days (they’re happily warming the shelves and price has gone down to shift them!). Eighth Doctor set too sometimes. |

The only thing that frustrates me is they didn't make it to the 60th so we could get a 14th and 15th Doctor. Though my second 10 sort of doubles as 14! |

Heard online rumblings that the new wave is in stores so used my lunch break to pop to my nearest B&M. To my astonishment, all three sets were there! So my wallet is now quite a bit lighter.
