It could be anything. A phone call, what you watched/read/listened to, the walk you took. We are all looking for ways to keep same during this strange time on the planet. How are you making it through?
I actually had to go to work for an hour, and getting up and out had me very productive. Only to the office and home, but I worked out, cleaned and then made an awesome home made quick tomato soup that BOTH my kids loved (which never happens).
I watched: Michael Collins, The Timeless Child, and 2 episodes of The Umbrella Academy I listened to: Benny: Road Trip I hope to finish my book before I go to sleep: Last of the Gadarene.

I was fielding phone calls most of today, including a long period spent being ferried from one hold line to the next. I decided to crack open my copy of Scratchman and have a read. Ended up reading some to a very tired phone operator.

I shaved my beard off as soon as I got the info on where I am working. I have packed my "work bag" of things I will need there, at this stage no idea how long. There will be a security guard at the front door I was told. Sensitive "data" on everyone in Australia- head office in city is Fort Knox- this place isn't LOL
Been watching "Bluey" cartoons all day on tv with my boy. Aussie people will know what that is.
The last 5-6 days I just haven't been able to listen to any BF. Go to bed and promptly smash it sleep wise LOL.

Well, there is glorious sunshine outside, so I will go for a long walk (as long as lone walks are still permitted) and then spend some time on the balcony reading a book or listening to an audio. I try to limit my exposure to the news, but that is sometimes hard to do because I also need my daily online catchup with my friends. A friends of mine who has classical singing training has started to pop videos of her doing a classical song every day online. It is beautiful. She is chronically ill and therefore is not even able right now to leave the house, sunshine or no. And she still tries to spread hope. I do a lot of breathing exercises to calm my breathing and heartbeats and also got my old meditation audio practices out. I will also try to do some yoga when I can motivate myself to it. I also still have quite a few figurines to paint for my Warhammer army, just need to force myself to sit still and sit down a while and paint while listening to music and/ or audios. This has always helped me to focus in the past.

Breakfast in the garden, a smoothie, toast, tea & porridge. So lucky to have a garden. That's the part I'm kind of missing at the moment, to be honest. We've a very lovely garden, but unfortunately, the sky above it is currently filled with air traffic. It's not too far from the reserve base here, where they've been mobilising personnel, so the sound of helicopters is fairly frequent. Difficult to say when they arrive and leave as well. They have a tendency to fly above the cloud layer, yet low enough to make audio listening... challenging? Challenging. But then, like the jets before them, it's turned into an interesting exercise in active listening. I think I can distinguish numbers now... Still, it won't be forever.

Writing a lot of cheap gags and sketches mostly. Nothing I intend to follow on through but it keeps me busy at least.
That and a lot of reading. Just so as I can be considered ‘well read’ one day.

Tedious online training. It comes to something when I keep hoping somebody will send me some work.
On a more helpful note, making sure I listen to old comedy on Radio 4 Extra. "The Goon Show" and "Lenin of the Rovers" today (and I think "Jest (not Just) a Minute" was on today as well); "Hancock's Half Hour" tomorrow.

Well, today was GORGEOUS out. I kicked my 19 year old out of the bed at 2 PM and made her come take a walk with me and her brother. It was a beautiful day in the park. Lots of people riding bikes and walking, most staying out of each others' ways. We saw turtles sunning themselves and buds opening on the trees. And my son did the cooking and made me dinner.
I finished Umbrella Acadamy. Now to start on something new.

Wrote a short story that I outlined a while back, read three chapters of Live and Let Die (a bit on the balcony even though it's only 5°C), went for a walk with my wife and we grabbed burgers and fries from the pub down the street. Probably the best day so far during this whole thing, certainly the most productive.

Went for an afternoon walk with my daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter. They consider it safer to see me that way for now, though I think we've all been socially isolated long enough that it's probably safe for us to visit each other, as we don't see anyone else in person, unless it's from a distance of six feet or more. Beautiful weather and the cherry trees are in full bloom where I am. An evening video call with my daughter-in-law, son, and grandson. Which ended with my grandson racing his tricycle (which we bought him for his birthday last month) from the bedroom, through the dining room and into the living room. Finding out that my gym is offering an option for virtual personal training. Can't wait to get back with my trainer. She's the best.
