Sitting outside in my backyard reading The Target Storybook in the sunshine 🌞😊 Which story do you think best? I think definitely Colin's and Matthew's. Actually, I like Matthew's story best. He was so proud about it last year at the con, and I think with very good reason.
Haven’t decided yet 🤔but I am reading Mathew’s right now and it is good!😊

Here's an obscure gem from history. Sometime ago in 1979, Tom Baker did a tour of Australia in his role as the Fourth Doctor. As part of that tour, he was approached by a not-for-profit environmental organisation, Keep Australia Beautiful, to do some advertisements for them. These are two of them:

A lot of day drinking to be brutally honest. In my defence, I consider it making up for my rather lacklustre 2019 New Years celebration.

Many of my friends have taken up their artsy endeavours and hobbies again. My social media feed is full of videos of music performances, art photography, paintings, designed and painted miniatures. Many of my friends are locked down at home since their work place has closed, or they work from home, or they are chronically ill and are unable to leave the house.
So this motivated me to get back into my miniature painting- I ordered more paints and new brushes online, as well as more figures to paint. In the past, painting miniatures and listening to audios has always provided me with a safe and relaxing space. With that in mind I also now have a table and chair on my balcony, so I can sit on the balcony and paint on the upcoming summer evenings. Something to look forward to after stressful days at work.

What kind of miniatures do you paint? I have been playing Warhammer on and off for the past 25 years. I have also collected and painted the Doctor Who figures by Warlord Games. I decided to get back into Warhammer... still having to paint some miniatures of my Inquisition Army. And right now I got some demon worshipping Chaos troops complete with a great devilish Sorcerer.

It looked like people enjoyed the last time I posted one of these, so I thought I'd post my Doctor Who, "stay at home" themed version of The Muppet's Cabin Fever here youtu.be/Zg-ons7k9Ts

Gardening update #2: Those tomato seeds I sowed in March are now plants with flowers and some busy bee must have got in quick because there's already one tiny little green tomato! So some things are still working like normal!

Playing a game of TOON over Zoom with friends.
Not the most elaborate nor in-depth of roleplaying systems I will agree but sometimes you just want to play funny animals getting involved in slapstick hijinks, you know?

This year's London Film Festival. 11 days of films from all over the world, mainly online of course this year. Today is the final day & all the short films are still available to watch for free. I would recommend Chicken a fun 10 minute short.

As the world continues to burn around us, I’ve decided to spend my Sunday reliving my childhood by watching some old Hanna Barbera cartoons.
Some of these I don’t even remember although I’m sure there are some die hard fans of Lippy Lion and Goober and the Ghost Chasers out there.

I'd forgotten this thread...
Gardening update #3: Spring seems a long time ago now but I can report that those tomato seeds grew into big strong plants loaded with juicy tomatoes. Started eating them in June, all harvested now and probably good for another month yet.
If anyone's interested for next year, for troughs and hanging baskets you can't beat 'Tumbler' (very easy, a quick grower and early cropper) and for the usual upright tomatoes outside or in a greenhouse, our favourite is 'Shirley'.
