If you’ve been disappointed over the saga, then getting it would depend on what TLV content you’ve assumed. If you’ve read the two books, then it’s worth getting to wrap up Ten’s strand and see how he’s adjusting following his actions. But if you didn’t enjoy the books, then there’s no point in purchasing, unless you want 30 mins apiece with McGann & Tennant.

Is it worth downloading as i must say i found the whole saga pretty much a total let down? Depends on what you're looking to get out of it. As standalone stories, they're not bad, but if you're looking for any meaningful connective tissues between stories (nevermind a proper arc) you won't find anything, and even the big multi-Doctor crossover fails to have any actual interaction between McGann and Tennant. For all the hype, TLV managed to be pretty impressively underwhelming. God knows it sure vanished from the collective conversation remarkably fast.

I find that to be a problem with a lot of things that are hyped up, they often fail to meet expectations... with Big Finish I find the most enjoyable stories are often the ones that you have low expectations of in the first place.

To an extent, sure, but if a story is interesting -- even if it's pretty bad -- it will form an I Pression the the Zeitgeist; people will want to talk about it. Like, good grief, Attack of the Clones is more than 20 years old by now, right? And people are still talking about it, happily quoting it, and making new memes from it. Meanwhile the much more recent and equally bad Star Wars film, The Rise of Skywalker is already all-but forgotten. It simply lacked the same staying power. I think I've said this before, and often, though possibly not yet on this forum, but the absolute worst thing a story can be is boring. This is the cardinal sin, yeah? Something immaculately crafted but dull has no value, whereas something rough around the edges--crude, even--but interesting is always of value. Or at least some value. But, yeah, in this case most--but not all--of TLV's problems exist outside the text. We've got four (well, three) pretty okay stories. The problem is that none of them are really what they were presented as. Had these been, say, MR releases and fans were left to guess at the connections... well, few would, I think, but I expect the end result would be a more favorable impression. Can you tell I'm having one of those days? Yeah. Sorry for all the text.
