From Doctor Who to The Railway Children to The Wombles to Fawlty Towers and back to Doctor Who, Bernard Cribbins has quite simply always *been* there, being brilliant. Very sad to hear he has died. RIP.

It was nice to see Bernard Cribbins at two conventions. And I only saw him recently on the big screen in 'Daleks' Invasion Earth 2150 AD' and on the small screen in 1970's 'The Railway Children'. RIP Bernard (1928-2022). Tim

Absolutely gutted Bernard Cribbins has passed away so sad, thankfully he leaves behind a legacy of film, TV & audio dramas that we can rewatch & celebrate his life with.

Very sad to hear of the death of Bernard Cribbins. Known for his role in Doctor Who as well as many other things. "Every night, Doctor, when it gets dark, and the stars come out... I'll look up at the sky, and think of you."

Really terrible news. Absolutely loved Bernard Cribbins. What a career he has had. He is a a British legend. We are lucky to have had him in Doctor Who. He brought so much to the role of Wilfred and made him the loveable character he was. Wilf is one of my favourite characters from Who. R.I.P. Bernard Cribbins.
Rewatched Dalek Invasion Earth 2150AD in tribute earlier. He is great in that film. Particularly love the scene where Tom tries to blend In with the Robomen. Cribbins plays that scene to perfection.

I’d been worried Bernard would be leaving us sooner rather than later since he lost his wife of 65+ years towards the end of last year, but it was gutting to read the news this morning. As others have said, what a life and what a career. Nobody had a bad word to say about him and you can’t say that about many people, particularly in his line of work.
I’d wholeheartedly recommend his autobiography if you’ve not read it. There was a petition to get Bernard to do an audiobook of it earlier this year, but not sure if it actually happened.
RIP

just looking at his credits to remind myself of his extensive TV and film work the mouse on the moon, carry on spying, She, Dalek invasion Earth 2150AD, Space 1999 (1 episode), the Avengers (2 episodes), the Wombles, Dangerous Davies, Jackanory and so many other things. His charm was incredible...

There is very little I can say that hasn't already been said about David's acting career, so instead I'll just mention a couple of things that for me layed down the true measure of the man - that very few of us knew he and Lisa were in a relationship, and that very few, if any knew he was dealing with Cancer for eighteen months before he passed away. It's going to make the releases in both September and November very bittersweet indeed. My heartfelt sympathy to Lisa and his children.
As for Bernard...again, what can you say about the man that hasn't already been said? There are very few who can claim they played a small part in the childhood of generations, and equally very few who were held in deep affection by people they'd most likely never meet. Without a doubt Bernard was one of them, and in some way I hope he was aware of that.
Vale gentlemen. I'll raise a glass in your memories this weekend. Rest now..and thank you.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

I'm lucky to have had a photo with Nichelle Nichols (Lt. Uhura) at 'Destination Star Trek Birmingham' in October 2018. RIP Nichelle (1932-2022) Live long and prosper. Tim
