Oh now that’s a release schedule I can get behind! A proper season.
Gwen returning is very surprising and I’m very onboard for it. Maybe we can get some more interaction between her and Ng, as there’s a lot of unresolved baggage from her actions in Aliens Among Us.

Hopefully it's more than that though! I guess story details, casting and trailers should give us a clearer idea in the coming months. |

Nice that it’s consecutive months, and not in 2024. 😁 I’ll get the bundle when volume 3 is released, then binge it. I’ve discovered with my recent Stockbridge trilogy & Soho listening experience that I can follow the story easier if all volumes are on hand, instead of waiting months or years between releases & forgetting the story.

This is really great news. Much as I love the BF Torchwood output, I have an up-and-down relationship (ooh!) with the ongoing Norton Folgate character who is a little too much for me (aye!), but seems to be holding his own (woah!) in the range. At times he seems to have strolled straight out of a Carry On film. He might well make an appearance here, but his archness might be a little less extreme if he is part of a team. I look forward to finding out. I really thought Torchwood had gone down the same road as Dark Shadows and get caught up in what seem to be ongoing rights-issues. I'm so glad for this range at least, that isn't necessarily the case. Roll on May!

His style of high camp I'm still not sure about. Especially when surrounded by more progressive characters. And I then I find myself thinking, does progressive always mean not shadowing characteristics from times gone by? Then I come to the conclusion I'm over thinking things. Then I get confused and have to have a sit down. |

Well I look forward to the long awaited season 7, though am curious about the team lineup especially. And I’m sure there is the vocal twitter minority bitching at Big Finish for the absence of a certain character they have no control over.

Wonder to what extent we are getting the original season 7 plan A (i.e pre Barrowman's scandal) for this season 7 and how much of this is plan B. Was Gwen's return always part of the plan or is she just there to tick the "original TV regular" box following Barrowman's enforced absence?

I wouldn’t say so, considering Jack is constantly upping and leaving Torchwood since the series began, and we already know where he went by way of the tv show. |

I wonder if Tania Bell will appear in season 7 at any point, either pre-Stranded or post-Stranded. Post-Stranded could mean Liv appearing in Torchwood as well
