Glad we have some clarification about whether Ruby would be sticking around. I wonder, since she is, why they didn't clarify that a while back when the rumors of her exiting the show prematurely were all over the internet making people scandalized.

Such good news! I love a good TARDIS Team. The Fam was of my favorite elements of Chibnall's era, so hopefully this team has an equally fun dynamic.

Did not think Millie was ever said to leave after one season just that she would leaving in Season 2 no? Which could still be true as this is PR of course and she could easily be in a reduced role like Martha in the Tate season.
Either way its only 3 weeks on Friday night till the new season and I cannot wait.

BBC Books seems to be getting fully invested in the new era, with three upcoming novels. First one out in June and with audiobook read by Millie Gibson (written by Georgia Cook, a familiar name for more recent Gallifrey audios):

Gonna be hard to find these, given that Book Depository is gone and I don't use Amazon (a previous Prime Minister had a bug up his ahem over Amazon and whacked a 2nd tax on overseas purchases)..

Takes me back to when it seemed like everyone was reading ‘The Stone Rose’, ‘The Feast of the Drowned’ and ‘Forever Autumn’ Same! I never did buy or read them, but in simply existing, this new trio of books makes me achingly nostalgic for the Season One of 2005: aged 19, caught up in all the excitement of the revival, browsing bookstores every other day after uni, and sorely tempted each time by the box set of all three Nine/Rose books. I can’t help but smile knowing some teenager today will be looking at these three new books in the same way.

"QBE Books" (which is a 5 minute drive from my house) don't ..
"Angus & Robertson" don't either ;(
Any Aussies on this forum know of any other book chains?

A shame, no independent shops. Maybe they could order it in?

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

Our local Dymocks sometimes has Who books in, but mostly the trade hardbacks (encyclopaedias and reference books) rather than the novels. QBE is much the same. Angus & Robertson was a much-loved shop in my youth (some friends of mine once referred to them as the “twin gods.” I didn’t argue). Alas, since they folded their physical shops, I’ve had very little joy with them. There are a few very nice independent stores about the place that I frequently shop at and they have very little hesitation in ordering stuff in for me if I want it. It’s a pain, but that’s the way things are now. And I’d rather shop at a proper bookshop than online unless it’s absolutely necessary.

Really glad to see the return of the novels. Historically the second batch is usually better for a new Doctor / TARDIS team, given they have more to work from, but I think given the long lead time of this era, these will really hit the ground running. Really looking forward to hearing Millie’s reading.
Interesting to see the Doctor’s glove make a return on the cover. I thought that’d be a one and done.

I don't live there, but do you have access to like e-books through a book store? Like over here we have barnes and noble which has both an online store and physical locales

Ncuti Gatwa suggests he'll be doing a third season! In an interview with Attitude magazine he said “I think this year my break will be to do something different creatively in between. Or another project, just, like, another character. That will be my mental break in between. But I dunno. We’ll see. We’ll see whether I work or take a holiday.” cultbox.co.uk/news/ncuti-gatwa-comments-suggest-third-doctor-who-series-for-the-actor
