Ncuti Gatwa suggests he'll be doing a third season! In an interview with Attitude magazine he said “I think this year my break will be to do something different creatively in between. Or another project, just, like, another character. That will be my mental break in between. But I dunno. We’ll see. We’ll see whether I work or take a holiday.” cultbox.co.uk/news/ncuti-gatwa-comments-suggest-third-doctor-who-series-for-the-actorThree to four seasons is the average so I'm not surprised if he does stick around.

Our local Dymocks sometimes has Who books in, but mostly the trade hardbacks (encyclopaedias and reference books) rather than the novels. QBE is much the same. Angus & Robertson was a much-loved shop in my youth (some friends of mine once referred to them as the “twin gods.” I didn’t argue). Alas, since they folded their physical shops, I’ve had very little joy with them. There are a few very nice independent stores about the place that I frequently shop at and they have very little hesitation in ordering stuff in for me if I want it. It’s a pain, but that’s the way things are now. And I’d rather shop at a proper bookshop than online unless it’s absolutely necessary. I don't live there, but do you have access to like e-books through a book store? Like over here we have barnes and noble which has both an online store and physical locales I am a physical book reader, I have a 6 car garage out the backyard converted to my Batcave filled with my music cds/vinyls/cassettes/dvds/blurays/VHS, books and my collection of horror/fantasy/sci fi/ Marvel & DC/ Who collectibles.
I just can't do ebooks, I feel like I am cheating if it's not a physical product.

The divergent universe isn't a physical project. We must all be pen pals or it's cheating lol

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

I use the Kindle app on my tablet for books and stories I can’t normally access due to rarity or expense (postage in the case of BF).

More and more media is digital only, including film, TV and books. While I prefer the physical - it's about the stories. If I have to be digital? I will be.

See I'm the opposite. I only buy physical copies of my absolute favorites, or if there isn't an ebook available. It's just cheaper and more convenient for me personally.

Am I the only one who finds it silly that RTD wants to retart the count? It's an unbroken second era. There's S14 (Tennant return). S15 is Gatwa's first season.
To me, at least. This is going to get confusing.

This is going to get confusing. To be fair to RTD it's very possible that Disney demanded it as it's now moving to their channel, sort of.
That said, I just treat the entire series as one thing and call the upcoming season, season 42.

I love that we're getting the annual novels back - still disappointed that Thirteen only had the one set and that was it.

Season One makes sense if Disney are pushing this to a new audience. Makes it seem less daunting for a newbie. Besides - it doesn't matter to anyone but us. Most people who are not diehard fans of a show but like it just watch "the new season". My wife and I watch Death In Paradise and Misommer Murders. What season? We don't know, we just ttune it. Later this year we'll watch Stranger Things for its las rtun. What season? No idea. But we never miss them shows. Thats most of the audience.

They are really trucking. I knew once they settled in things would go faster but man that's impressive.

Well the Disney deal was only for 2 seasons. Will we even get a season 3?

It's not a slur. An insult, yes. And I'd argue that most people on the receiving end of that insult deserve it.

Haven’t read the whole thread, but saw a list of the episodes on Bleeding Cool (which I realize isn’t the most reliable source) and wondered if RTD is really writing all but 2 episodes. Disappointed if that’s true, not a big fan of his writing.

New Trailer Regards mark687 Don't think there's any new footage in this one, just a shorter version of the March 31st tweet including that cringe line "gimmie the lovin'"
