Further down the line as we are in the TIME WAR i decided to relisten to John Dorneys-The Starship of Theseus. It still blows me away as a cracking tale, exciting adventurous and sad and excellently dramatised. Companions that never were. It helped that i was listening in a darkened room last thing at night this time around. The approaching escalation of Time War Shenanigans Cracking stuff really
Once i had listened to the whole set again i find myself more forgiving this time around. I have always been vocal that i found the TIme War very limited in what stories it could tell But Time apart and also the fact that i had not been inundated with releases to listen to has helped... That was an adventurous ride with some great audio imagery and fast paced adventurous thrilling storytelling. Time to relisten to set 2 me thinks...oh yeah will i be less pissed off with the Elevens Gender change-who knows, who knows.😂🤪
I think you cannot really blame the actress you can only work with the material you are given. She does get a marvellous introduction blowing away a Dalek. But pretty standard use after that.
It's odd. Over the last couple of years I've mellowed towards my total dislike of her. I now can't make up my mind if I do like her, or if I still don't.
Well i think initially she had a very bland introduction but by time you get to Companion Piece she fits in. But am now on Time War 2 and Bliss is already her own woman. She has a different style to the others not a mouthy gub,or a cynical jaded person but what can i say a natural and grounded type of woman. I think i also changed my opinion of her and am enjoying her take on the character now
