Currently playing HD remaster Resident Evil, weirdly the controls have a mind of there own when characters go round in circles by themselves which is ANNOYING especially when I'm being attacked by zombies.Grrrr

I started Wolfenstein: The Old Blood a couple of months ago and managed to finish it last weekend. Had a great time playing, I thought the alternate history was very well done and fascinating and the locations and weapons varied. Have managed to grow the odd hour throughout this past week playing the immediate prequel, The Old Blood. I liked it, but I’m so glad I got it via Xbox Game Pass and I didn’t pay for it outright. It’s glorified DLC that they try to pad out with Challenges (that you technically play as part of the campaign anyway) and Nightmare levels, which are just ports from the original Wolfenstein and hold little interest for me. I finished the campaign in 5 and a half hours having got a substantial amount of the collectibles, all perks bar one and did half of the Nightmare levels. Yeah decent FPS games, I'm currently a PS4 gamer but started my gaming comeback on Xbox 360 & it's very likely I'm going back X box because not happy direction Sony going & Xbox own Bethesda & RPG my favourite type gaming. You ever played the Dead Space games? I loved them on the 360 I had a PlayStation 2 and adored it, but my friends all made the jump to Xbox 360 so I did the same when it came to getting the next gen at the time. Then we moved to Xbox One, although it's been a few years now since we all last played Halo, Call of Duty, Payday, etc. but that's the passing of time for you! Now I'm more of a casual gamer and like the £10.99 a month Game Pass that allows me to play the odd game online (Star Wars Battlefront II & Squadrons) in an evening and also download a game I might have missed out on in the past. Yeah I loved the Dead Space games at the time and replayed Alien Isolation last year, which I adored! I've been on a Bond binge recently and really got the urge to play From Russia With Love & Nightfire again, but don't have a PS2 or the games anymore.

Very strange glitch.

Subnautica It's a hell of a slow burn, but there is a serenity in exploring the seas and stumbling across new habitats and wreckage.
Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number Very moreish. Fast and frantic. It can be frustrating to be stuck on a particularly hard section, but it makes beating a level all the more satisfying. I never actually got all the way to the end the last time I played this, so I'm interested into seeing how it all wraps up.

Oh, Nightfire and Everything or Nothing... There are a pair of games that bring back memories. They've a good set of villains. Willem Dafoe has an excellent turn as the growling Nikolai Diavolo in the latter and a silken-voiced Michael Ensign makes a surprise appearance as Raphael Drake in the forrmer (" I'd ask you to join us, Mister Bond, but why waste good caviar on a man who won't live long enough to enjoy it?"). I tend to think of them as Brosnan's unofficial films. EoN, especially, lends itself to that rather nicely. I'd love to play Nightfire properly one day. The PC port was good, but the console versions had a tonne of stuff included that got skipped over in translation like the driving sections.

Everything or nothing was fantastic probarly the best bond game next to goldeneye and the world is not enough I really wish I had bought nightfire back in the day but at the time I wasn’t impressed with the voice acting of bond himself The pc port was abysmal though

Star Wars: Empire at War
Damn good strategy game, and there’s just something perversely satisfying about blowing planets to bits with a Death Star.

From Russia With Love (PS2)
An odd choice of Bond film to adapt but this is really a lot of fun. Absolutely bonkers and over the top as a James Bond game should be. And even though I still have no idea how they managed to persuade him to reprise his role but it’s always nice to hear from the late Sean Connery even if he had clearly aged by that point.

Blimey this takes me back, thanks for the nostalgia trip.

After 3 sessions of Cyberpunk i have to say I'm underwhelmed & disappointed, i like the concept & world & it's characters but the driving mechanics are awful & the combat controls feel clunky.
Fallout 4 & Witcher 3 still my favourite rpgs.

Just finishing Resident Evil 8 on Village of Shadows(the highest difficulty) and have to say that I think this is my second favourite RE game after 7. Though it does suffer from the weird RE trend of the last third taking away the atmosphere and placing the ending in a secret lab/factory etc.
