My hubby and I have been watching Power of Kroll. We both looked at each other and burst out laughing at the cheesy effect of Kroll getting that guy at the end of episode two.
We kinda got stalled on finishing the serial cause of too much to do, but I hope to finish off the last episode this week.
When I was young, my parents typically took us to Cape Cod in the summer (with some exceptions). Pretty much every time we went out for a walk around the tidal flats* we'd end up trying to dam a small tidal river or try to build a castle that would stand for a while as the tide came in. One of us would invariably prop a dead crab on the top of a stick, and set it in the top of the dam/castle. The crab would be.... Kroll.
(There aren't any dead squid or octopi lying around)
*If you aren't familiar with the Cape, there are portions such as on the inside of the "elbow" (Brewster) where you can walk a good mile straight out from the shore at low tide, across alternating sand bars, shallow 'rivers', and tidal pools.
