I'll be quite interested to see if there are audios of these and who does the readings.

On one hand BBC book has the option of double dipping, releasing audio readings of these. On the other hand, will there be a viable market for novelisations of New Series stories? A Missing Episodes branch of unmade stories could be interesting though. I think so. Maybe not so much with the younger audience, but with older fans? Defiantly. Let's not forget the Sherlock factor, as well.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

There's still Resurrection of the Daleks to go. And Revelation too, I think. Both have been unofficially novelised through the Doctor Who New Zealand fan club, but lack official novelisations. Eric Saward was going to do an audio original novelisarion of Resurrection before AudioGo went down, but like their original Unearthly Child it's in limbo (in the case of Unearthly Child due to complicated rights disputes). Unearthly Child had the CDs and everything all pressed and in the warehouse ready for shipment.

It’s a good thing we have Big Finish’s original Earthly Child!

I wonder if they could coax Capaldi or Eccleston to do one of these audio readings?
Even Tom Baker did a few of the target readings years before he changed his mind on Big Finish...

If not Capaldi, it would be lovely for David Bradley to read "Twice Upon A Time".

It's *exactly* the kind of thing some authors put in their bios.

If not Capaldi, it would be lovely for David Bradley to read "Twin Upon A Time". 'Twin Upon A Time'? I must have missed the rumour that the twins from The Twin Dilemma were making a cameo appearance.

It's *exactly* the kind of thing some authors put in their bios. In that case for my author biography for the books I will release I'll mention the time I ran after the batterbus in France shouting for it to stop because "We're [Mum, Dad, me, brother] trying to get on here!"

I work in the publishing industry. Colgan's bio is a textbook example of what publishing houses ask authors to do when they write their bio. Short, memorable, quirky.

It's now been reported that Paul Cornell, not Steven Moffat, will novelise "Twice Upon a Time", making his current retirement from 'Doctor Who' (and all other pre-existing properties) his shortest ever! I wonder what that means for the other RTD and Moffat-penned books? Are they still writing them, or are the author listings a mistake?
