Crash of the UK 201 sounds like it will be developing Vicki's character a bit, that's the name of her dad's ship. I'd trust none other than Jonny Morris to do that considering his work with Nyssa and others.

I'm surprised they're doing another First Doctor Dalek story so soon after Across The Darkened City, but sounds good!

Looking forward to these, but thought we’d have had some Ben & Polly stories included.

Peter Purves does a brilliant Hartnell Doctor and Maureen O'Brien and Peter always sound (to me at least) as if they could have just walked off the set of 'The Time Meddler' and into the audio booths. Fifty years? No, impossible! They have become my favourite First Doctor companions and four stories with Vicki and Steven will be great! And the authors and titles announced are exciting.
I also would have liked First / Polly / Ben stories, but we do have the pleasure of hearing Polly & Ben with the Second Doctor and Jamie in the other seasons of EAs, three stories this time and excellent ones too. To me the one of the available EA combinations that really deserves more stories than they currently get is Second/Jamie/Zoe and there were hints of that recently (though I forget where - reports on a podcast??.) But as extra adventures please BF, not reducing the excellent Polly / Ben / Jamie stories.

Did you write back to Nick to tell him what NOLA means? I actually did. I wanted to shout, ooh, ooh, I know what it means. But of course he couldn't hear me. And, also, I figured you'd tell him first, since I don't usually listen right away.

Though I was still left scratching my head for a minute until I remembered LA is the state 'code'. They very nearly did set a Colin Baker story in New Orleans - 'The Two Doctors' was intended to be set there. Which is why the aliens were the Androgums(=Gourmands), selecting their destination city for its famous cuisine. In the end, it was too expensive for the 80s budget, so after a rewrite by Robert Holmes we got Shockeye and the Second Doctor pigging out on about fifty courses in Seville instead!

Though I was still left scratching my head for a minute until I remembered LA is the state 'code'. We call those two letter designations for US states abbreviations, not codes. We also have zip codes, which are more specific in terms of the location they designate and intended to help the mail get where it's supposed to go.
