I have started to be practical about things. I am 47, and my daughter has no real interest in Doctor Who. One day, all my things will go in a bin. So... I have gone download of late. Exactly, but then you get a bit obsessive with my rip/ recorded / purchased files having a new hard drive very few years....... they now pulling up in the same boxes that once held my cd.......lol

On a different but not too unrelated topic has anyone not been getting dispatch emails about their CDs? i just realized that a couple of things i ordered last month haven't been dispatched and i saw on Reddit people talking about it aswell
Hope things are okay at Big Finish

On a different but not too unrelated topic has anyone not been getting dispatch emails about their CDs? i just realized that a couple of things i ordered last month haven't been dispatched and i saw on Reddit people talking about it aswell Hope things are okay at Big Finish It's because of the supply chain issues caused by Brexit and the pandemic

On a different but not too unrelated topic has anyone not been getting dispatch emails about their CDs? i just realized that a couple of things i ordered last month haven't been dispatched and i saw on Reddit people talking about it aswell Hope things are okay at Big Finish It's because of the supply chain issues caused by Brexit and the pandemic but shouldn't it be a thing that if you bought it they send you an email with an apology and a estimated date not just a blanket social media statement saying there are delays.... were in the 2020's now! that should come as standard customer service....chuffin heck BF products are very expensive least they can do is look after you

It's pretty basic to do that.

I mean there's a message on most news items and at the checkout page saying there's delays at the moment. And both Brexit and the pandemic are pretty hard things to miss. I think BF's customer service could stand to improve, but they have more than adequately covered the current issues.

The mail-out of collector’s edition CDs may be delayed due to factors beyond our control, but all purchases of this release unlock a digital copy that can be immediately downloaded or played on the Big Finish app from the release date." my last cd delivery was the Robots 4 I'm currently waiting for Blake's 7:Avalon 1 & 2, Torchwood (50 &) 51, War Doctor Begins 1, the Box of Delights and Lady Christina 2

Oh talk about first world problems (if you've got half decent Internet) you get the DL on Release Day. Its always been allow 30 Days for delivery. Either Brexit or Corona has caused an added complication/Delay from point of Manufacturer to BF Warehouse that BF can't do anything about and if was solely a transport one I'd imagine BF would switch one of the bigger delivery services that have still got drivers, and of course eventually that would raise CD cost if they haven't already.
Just my 2 penny worth.

The very reason they put this on the website, clearly above the items you're ordering and at the bottom of every news page is so that they don't have to email. There have been releases that have had long reschedules etc it is not just about the warehouse issue & delayed delivery of a product to customers but delays to releases. Their message on the basket does NOT cover that.
