MR: Dust Breeding, I do like a trip to Duchamp 331.
MR: Antidote to Oblivion (may even get past half way this time)

The Carrionite Curse (Simon Guerrier)
The perfect antagonists to go up against the always verbose Sixth Doctor.

Over the past few days I've been listening to 'The Apocalypse Element' for the first time in a couple of years, and have to say that I found it pretty decent & one I'd push for the 'big-screen treatment' if BF ever went down that route! Whilst I will say that I was a little 'put off' by the two-and-a-quater hour runtime, it's definitely a story that needs it!

the final part of Highlander - the promise which puts me up to date on all the Big Finish audios for which I have physical versions though there are still other audios I have from BBC and BBV and a number of last years downloads from Big Finish I have not yet heard and I still need to find the last Robin Hood and season 3 of Stargate and I need to wait for this year releases and I need to relisten and...

Whilst I will say that I was a little 'put off' by the two-and-a-quater hour runtime, it's definitely a story that needs it! You know... I think that Apocalypse Element was the first story, very early on, that showed me how Big Finish can articulate sheer scale in their sound design. It's an unusually visual story in some respects, but you're never at a loss for who's where in relation to someone/something else. There's a good sense of the "rush of battle", so to speak, and which way the tide is turning. What would be your pick if they could only animate just one scene? I'd love to see what could be done with the cliffhanger to "Part One". That little discovery by the Doctor and Trinket in the gravity well. Either that or the bombing with Evelyn.

The Starmen...
Not a bad story. Prefer the more maturer writing for Adric - comes across as less whining and annoying in this. The dramatic irony about the Doctor not being able to save people and avert death is done well here. It's a theme that looms throughout this trilogy (and the subsequent set). Would be good to get this TARDIS crew back together at some point.

The Horror at Bletchington Station (Chris Wing)
Really liked this one, maybe it was just me but I thought this had shades of Arnold Ridley’s The Ghost Train. Stephen Critchlow makes for a wonderful reader and I like how Dodo actually has a personality in this. Lovely to hear them actually retain a Geordie accent for her and I hope come her possible debut next year we get more stories of this calibre.
Big Finish really could be the making of her as a companion.

Out of the Deep (John Pritchard)
A cracking Short Trip from one of Big Finish’s most underrated writers.

And much needed as well considering her less than impressive tenure on television.
