The last couple of days, I've finally listened to Charlotte Pollard series 1 and 2. Really enjoyed them, hoping for more.
Just finished Phillip Hinchcliffe Presents The Genesis Chamber, and now onto The Helm of Awe.

And I am off, started to re-listen to the wonderful audio series of the two gents Jago and Litefoot. Already the very first episode putting mortal danger and moral dilemmas at the feet of our two unlikely heroes- with a ambiguous heroic act that might come back to haunt them in the future. So many great character moments, especially for Jago.

And the "leisurely" rerun of the Robots continues today into volume three... With my memory of the first three volumes of The Robots refreshed it's on to new territory today (new for me at least) with a first play of volume four. Finished off volume four this morning (and I'm pleased to see my suspicions about certain characters within the saga were spot on!), but a brief side step before volume five... The Sons of Kaldor (The Fourth Doctor Adventures) Escape from Kaldor (The Eighth Doctor Adventures) Robophobia (The Monthly Adventures)

Unfortunately, can't say I was impressed with The Helm of Awe at all. Wasn't remotely as coherent, fun or interesting as the previous PH Presents tales, IMO... After finishing that, I moved onto the third set of Third Doctor Adventures, with The Conquest of Far and Storm of the Horofax. Both were fine, though I think Conquest was the better of the two. I still feel like something's "missing" in the stories, some spark of creativity the 3DAs are lacking compared to that era of the TV series (not through any fault of the performers). Hopefully I'll like them more as they go on, because I love the Third Doctor and the UNIT era. Maybe books like Harvest of Time and Amorality Tale have spoiled me and raised my expectations too high for new Third Doctor tales, but I know the 3DAs can be just as good.
Then it was Infamy of the Zaross from the second set of Tenth Doctor Adventures, which I'd been putting off for a long time, 'cause 10 & Rose is by far not my favorite combination. Fun, but also didn't really grab me for whatever reason. I was going to listen to the other two in the set, but I think I'll space them out for now while I catch up on other things.
Currently listening to Vienna series three.

Today's anticipated listening is The Ghost Trap, Dumb waiter, The Foe from the Future, Black Dog and the Talents of Greel.
If all goes well, I'll even pop on an episode or two of Talons when I get home.

The New Adventures: The Trial of a Time Machine
I quite enjoyed that, though the ending did seem a little rushed after the methodical pace of the rest of the story. This just feels very different from most audio Seventh Doctor material, in a refreshing way,

Heard Blood Furnace with Seven, Ace and Mel, then The Sword of the Chevalier with Ten and Rose, now almost done The Silurian Candidate with Seven, Ace and Mel again. Nothing really to write home about in any of these, really...
And the way Ace is written in these stories with the returned Mel... almost feels as if they aren't all that long after Season 27, even though they're supposed to be after all her time with Hex (and presumably Benny). Are we sure these aren't meant to be earlier?

And now finished Jago and Litefoot Volume 5. Wonderful series, always surprising with some new twists and settings and I adore the characters- the heroes as well as the over-the-top villains.

It's a very "wordy" series, it's great ! If I wasn‘t so tired I would answer with a lot of amazing aspiring alliterations to that. I love it! This series is a BF highlight.
