Fantastic audio drama, tense, suspenseful, terrifying superbly acted, well done Stephen Cole & Guy Adams for writing this awesome audio drama. The two loosely linked stories worked wonders & maintained my interest throughout, Peter Davison does evil malevolence brilliantly & Sarah Sutton delivered one of her best performances as Nyssa. I rate this a 9/10 He does indeed do nasty very well, he was in an episode of Lewis as a bit of a git.

Wow, what a great release! A very intriguing look at what BF can do with this new two-story/two-writer format, too. The sense of mystery in "Dalek Soul" is wonderfully well done. It was lovely to have a Five/Nyssa story again, too. I love the overcrowded TARDIS of Five's era, but it has been a while since we've had a Five/Nyssa story and that team was exactly what this story called for. Definitely my favorite release in recent memory.

I listened to both Alien Heart and Dalek Soul this evening. Very good stories. Of the two, I liked Dalek Soul more, really good story, very good acting for the Doctor and Nyssa characters in the story. Sometimes you remember that Peter Davison could play a really callous baddy if he wanted to. Sarah Sutton, too, but her Nyssa was more of an ambivalent character in the story.

I've been listening to Cradle of the Snake, where Marc Platt says Peter Davison is a great villain actor.

Agree, years ago I watched an Agatha Christie ('Pocket Full of Rye', I think) and he (and Dame Agatha) fooled me completely. I believed he was playing one of the good guys - until suddenly... Or on our Erimem listen-through recently, it's more complicated but similar in 'Axis of Insanity' where for a while he's playing the Jester impersonating the Doctor and again, he's great as a villainous Doctor!

MR: Alien Heart - I quite enjoyed this one! The plot was a bit strange - sticky green things able to combine their minds together and do (something) that destroys planets, with a familiar set of baddies pulling the strings.
The regulars were on top form but i found that the female officer became increasingly wooden in her delivery as the play wore on.
Saying that, it was alright! 6 out of 10

He plays a callous, rich husband with a dark secret in an episode of 'Lewis'. Very good he is too!

MR: Dalek Soul.
Oh this was very good indeed. For once I guessed what was going to happen and what 'Nyssa' had in mind, but it didnt matter one jot. 9 out of 10 and great to hear Peter Davison play a nasty git.
