Definitely, less focus on the companion.

Make it clear who or what The Hybrid was meant to be

Definitely, less focus on the companion. Can I add my nuance to that? Less focus on Clara. I was happy with the level of focus on Bill.

Danny Pink!!!
Awful character motivation, really awkwardly played.

Start his era with Bill instead of Clara (therefore no Danny Pink or any of that nonsense.) No Hybrid. No Ashildr. Some actual consistency in the writing, & particular of the character of The Doctor in S8 & 9.

The master tapes of 'Kill the Moon', 'In the Forest of the Night', 'Death in Heaven', 'Sleep No More' and 'Hell Bent' are all eaten by a starving Androgum before broadcast. Dessert is Danny Pink.
The Raven is revealed to be the Black Guardian's hat. When Clara dies, he erases her from Time so completely that not even the Time Lords can bring her back. 'Mwahahahahahahaaa!'
Twelve and Bill and Nardole go on travelling together for at least two more seasons.

Twelve and Bill and Nardole go on travelling together for at least two more seasons. You like Bill? Would you keep her ending? Being killed, turned to a Cyberman, and eventually becoming immortal? And, constantly reminding us she's a lesbian?

Yes, I like Bill. She's confident, inquiring, brave, loyal and has total faith in the Doctor. What more could any Doctor want in a Companion? And I don't agree that Bill (or the show) was 'constantly reminding us' about anything. Bill's sexuality only comes up a few times after her introductory story, usually when some young man finds her attractive and she gently shoos him off. And once when she asks a girl home and their evening is gatecrashed by the Pope! As for Bill's ending - for starters I'd like to have seen her continue for another two seasons, but yes I did think the Cyber-conversion ending was both tragic and brilliant. No, I wouldn't have made her immortal and then written her out, I don't see the point.

Would have been better to have just left her as a Cyberman.

The Raven is revealed to be the Black Guardian's hat. Heh. So I'm not the only one who always wonders why the hell he likes wearing a dead bird. I guess things just look different when you're a God-like creature... Or maybe it was up-staging. A celery stalk, you say? I raise. Dead bird.

Clara exits and is forgotten. Either no arcs/themes, or the kind of very lite RTD arcs. So, chuck mystery girl, the hybrid, am I a good man, etc.
No focus on any companion's love life. I just don't care. There's romance in just about _every_ kind of TV show already.
Basically, just a lot more like S10. It had some faults but it was the strongest since S5 (and I did like S5's arc, actually, apart form the final resolution).

At the risk of talking about stuff we have discussed several times over, it has always seemed to me that Moffat never knew what he wanted Clara to be. From Impossible Girl to Working Woman Who Wants It All to Thrill Junkie. I don't feel like Clara ever really clicked as a character and I would have liked to seen her depart with the 11th Doctor. I would have liked to have seen a character like Bill, and Nardole for that matter, introduced much sooner. More Missy would have been great as well. Oh and I would have changed Peter Capaldi's mind and talked him into staying for at least another series.

I think Chibnall wanted a new Doctor, anyway. Capaldi didn't stand a chance of staying.

If we are to believe Capaldi, he says the option to stay was there.
