2, That's how I read it a signed Poster Sized version of the Cover.
1. Agreed so far the new Logo has only worked for me on sea green or mauve red backgrounds so 8th Doc Time War 2 and River Song 4.

Eh, works well for me. Makes the release feel relevant and current, bringing yesteryear back into today as it was.

Of course it depends how 'full' the cast is;-) I had three main characters, two minor ones and an interesting recording experience given Daphne and Wendy were in studio nearly a year apart! I suspect nobody will guess who read in for Daphne when Zoe recorded her part! So is this the mysterious recording session where photos went on social media? Were you given Daphne’s character as part of the brief? Are you in the interviews for the release? Yes, yes, yes

I rather like the logo with this cover, though I still prefer the white version overall. But everything about this is making my wallet tingle. The CCs remain one of BF's very best offerings.

I could be wrong but the trailer makes me think this is post-Invasion of Time Leela?

I could be wrong but the trailer makes me think this is post-Invasion of Time Leela? I think they've said it's "early days" for Leela - but that doesn't seem to gel with her lack of knowledge of Jamie in Return to Telos (even if most od the forum would rather forget that one).

I think it's incredibly appropriate for this to be one of the earliest releases with the new logo. 13 and 2 are cycle twins after all.

Anyone notice the fantastic typo "Leela of the Seventeen" in the description?

Anyone notice the fantastic typo "Leela of the Seventeen" in the description? Given it's framed in brackets, it's likely Jamie not hearing Sevateem right. While he's not the brightest or sharpest lad, he's definitely the bravest.

Given it's framed in brackets, it's likely Jamie not hearing Sevateem right. While he's not the brightest or sharpest lad, he's definitely the bravest. That’s my suspicion as well Agree, it's Jamie doing that characteristic Jamie thing of substituting a familiar word when he doesn't know or understand a word.
He's as bright as the rest of us, he's just from the 18thC and his education was music and warfare with swords. Keeping company with the Doctor is enough to make anyone look a bit dim by comparison (except Zoe and Romana!) ('The Jigsaw War' is an excellent CC which shows Jamie using his musician's skills for complex sequences to great effect.)
Just as long as Jamie doesn't assume Leela is the latest 'lassie' they'll get on fine! For starters they can compare knives ('I'll have ye know it's a dirk.') and their warrior backgrounds and proudest victories; they have far more in common than most other random Companion pairings would do and they should make a great temporary team. And I can't wait to hear the actors together ( properly together this time, no Krelos/Telos...), two of my favourite Companions, it's a 'dream ticket'.

Sounds like she calls him "little knife" in the trailer, from his dirk most likely (for men length always matters). It's so like Leela to give people nicknames based on her impressions of them (she calls one character in Darkness of Glass "weasel face", upon which the Doctor remarks it looks more like a stoat). Blue guards for policemen is a classic example.

The new DWM states that the Daphne Ashbrook story links to the 8th Doctor Short Trip "The Turn of the Screw", presumably it'll be more than just her character being in both.

I hope that the cover is still reversible for a classic logo. Especially for the CC's I can't see a single reason why you'd want the new series logo, especially when they're now just limited to the first two Doctors.

The reversible cover has been included for Doctor Who releases starting with Lure of the Nomad, and I see no reason this will be an exception.

I have a download mp3 link for this on my "ordered but not released yet" page. Maybe it's coming out this week or (more likely) early next week?

My understanding is it all depends on when the physical discs arrive at the warehouse. Given Wendy only recorded her parts at the start of May, I think it's amazing how much they've done in a short time. I think the link is live for reviewers, which means I've actually heard it (my story at least!)
I look forward to comments;-)
