Why they buried that as a reply to someone nonchalantly asking on the UNIT: Shutdown announcement is beyond me. Either it was meant to be announced earlier and the comment or, as I suspect, this is a marketing ploy for the news to spread like wildfire. While I've enjoyed the last two box sets immensly, I think the series needs to be pulled back a little in scope - so far, we've had dilemmas of epic consequence for both box sets. I understand that it's all part of introducing Benny to a wider audience, but I wouldn't mind some smaller-scale adventures and surely there's enough in these releases (Ace at the academy and Ace and Seven's relationship after time apart) to tantilise listeners? |

To my mind, the whole point of a Lovecraftian horror is that it's ineffably sinister. If both the listener and the characters can point to it and say "Oi! It's that Yog Soggoth bloke!" it does rather diminish the menace. |

Th Doctor is, according to the novel of All Consuming Fire, scared of Nalapatohep, so it could be good (outside of a fan-fic called "Tea with Cthulu") to see why, when even Sutekh (who has gotten into his head in the past) just worried him.

But cannot be much worse than vol 1 was shocked today to see joe (on periscope) say it was one of his top 3
It's in my bottom 3 along with treason show & s&s mystery of the missing load of old rubbish!!!

So I saw a tweet from Scott Handcock that he was with George Blagden today and Deidre Mullins (who has worked for Big Finish before) was also apparently with them... Now it could be completely unrelated to Bernice Summerfield or even Big Finish but if by chance they were recording with Big Finish today than the upcoming Bernice Summerfield set would make sense. This is one range I don't listen to but I was just thinking the other day I'd like George Blagden to do Big Finish so maybe I'd have to get it if it was true.  |

I wonder if he got recommended by Mr Vlahos after Versailles? Hmmm. ANd Deidre's been directed by Scott in Dorian as well as the upcoming Dracula sothere's a small clique coming together here  Might be fun if its for Benny as we know that's in studio this week. Hopefully we'll get some news by the weekend. |
