ITYA ? I wonder what that stands for??? Illiterate Talker Yells Answers? Idle Train Yard Awaits? I Tolerate You Always? A million and one different things (Having said that, some of those examples were harder to come up with than I first thought...) *Yes, I know you clarified what you meant further down-thread of this post, but taking it literally seemed more amusing

More personal attacks! Um, personal attacks? I didn't make any personal attacks, I was just having a bit of fun with the acronym. I mean, I can apologise if necessary, but I wasn't being offensive to anybody as far as I can see.

He's just playing the victim again, just like when he said he was being bullied here and admins joined in....

Trailer looks like it could be a real bender. If they lean into that surreal and more psychologically disturbing elements of scandi noir, this could be the big winner of the series.

I always feel they miss an opportunity when they don’t do things like this in costume and in character!

I was replying to the Cbeebies Bedtime Story post. I didn’t feel the need to quote as it was the post immediately above mine.

All round a pretty good episode; looked great, terrific atmosphere, good story with that bonkers ending. Only problem was the scene where the Doctor was figuring out what was going on and explaining the Solitrax which was painfully slow and repetitive. (And I feel like if the Solitrax could rebuild people, surely it could psychically ascertain some of the Doctor's memories, so I like to think it was a happy ending.)

Well that was jammed packed with emotion, action and oddness.
Great turns from Jodie, Brad and Mandip.
Once again a high quality Doctor Who style EP not written by Chibbers, I think my final EP Ranking will be interesting.
Oh nearly forgot
"Grandad" finally! Regards

Oh, that was brilliant. Utterly unique too.
It looked great, Jodie and Bradley are incredible in this, as is Sharon D Clarke’s guest spot. Incredible that they filmed this episode second. And kudos to the young actor playing Hanne too, a great performance.
I really liked that they flipped the image when they went through the anti-zone to the other side; nice touch.
Only brief comments, but I’m basically gushing with praise for the whole production!

Really can't say much more than how consistently entertaining it was. There were some incredibly fun ideas in this episode and I was sad to see it end. I did wonder if The Doctor would end up seeing someone from her past, but I guess it's too soon to reintroduce characters like that. I think Tom Baker would have loved that frog, not quite a talking cabbage but suitably bonkers. Next week's episode can't come soon enough.

If you've ever wondered what a TV version of the Virgin NA novels or preNuWho Big Finish would look like, this is actually a fairly good approximation, right down to universe-frog and throwing a finger-wrench to obsessive continuity nerds. It also very much acts as a spirtual successor to Heaven Sent: big, cosmic approach to tackle how someone deals with grief, but expanded to several characters.

Oh my god they did it! They made a good Series 11 episode! Not just mediocre in comparison to the rest of the garbage, actually a good one! Advertising it under a fake premise was an astonishingly bold move, and IMO fully payed off.
