There's been no news at all regarding the future of The Third Doctor. All we know is that future stories won't feature narration. Any ideas on what's going on? I mean even Churchill is getting a volume two so what about The Third Doctor? I'm not dissing Churchill because I haven't heard it yet but I did not expect a second volume so soon. So where's the Third Doctor then?

I am hoping that with the lack of news, is that it's going to get his own range and not just a box set.
after not really having any 3rd doc adventures, i am happy to have more rather than less.

Yeah, I bet they'll probably do a new range of 3DAs. If so, I hope they re-release the volume one audios separately and without narration.

I very much doubt they would do that, the narration was ok and at least it kept the brig in the story i would much rather they did separate artwork for the two stories than ticker with them

It's definitely happening, but with the narration dropped. Apparently that was the biggest gripe people had with the first set, certainly for the DWM reviewer. If it is this year I'd guess it'll be around September or October.

Tim Treloar is a busy fellow, so maybe it's a case of getting time to get him into studio (and doesn't Katy still live in Oz?).

Since the stories were written with narration, removing the narration would just leave holes in the story. I really don't have a problem with narration. I won't miss it now that its gone, but it works fine for the Early Adventures.

I don't really mind either way, so long as the stories themselves aren't working against it.

I just want to hear some news that something's coming! And preferably soon! I've really been pining for a good Third Doctor story lately.

The next one will surely feature his best enemy? They were on about a few more appearances this year.

Do you mean Gordon Tipple? Yes, let's start a campaign now. Wasn't he exterminated by Davros and the Dalekmunks before becoming a snot snake and then Eric Roberts? Now I need to hear Daleks singing pop songs.

Well yes, but we've no idea how he got there. They ould do a whole series of stories with the Tipple Master (which sounds absolutely rubbish as a title)
