Interesting statement in the news item ... "The Second Doctor's history is about to change forever". Given that we know TIme Lords are involved in some way, I wonder if BF are going to try to retcon or explain The Five and/or The Two Doctors and offer an alternative to the 6B theory?

I was fortunate enough to get a review copy to listen to at the weekend. All I'm saying is plan to listen to this all in one go; you may not want to break off part way through...

It's definitely one of the most time travel heavy stories I've heard in a while. Very, very enjoyable and there are loads of twists I didn't see coming! Probably one of my favorite Simon Guerrier scripts yet!

Around the end of episode two now. When taking into account all books, audios and comics, the Doctor's personal chronology just gets more and more confusing.
Although this is really no different than the Sixth Doctor regenerating twice and ending up on Lakertya in both cases.

Not Again!
Edit
I like it more then not But:
I'm Sorry Ms Watling was dreadful.
The same 2 tricks pulled again "The Return" and more seriously how obvious the end resolution is.
Plus points:
Having an outside narrator really worked (and I don't think its JUST because it was David Warner), the story flowed quite well.
Frasier and Rufus both on top form throughout and very nice to hear Antony Keetch again.

I did like Rufus and the use of David Warner as narrator. I wasn't too annoyed at the ending, though I decided the Doctor was playing along. I agree with mark687 that Deborah Watling seemed to be struggling at times

It's annoying.

Narrators are very common in radio drama, just something BF avoids in most ranges

It's a few years too late to wonder if it's habit-forming.

It's a few years too late to wonder if it's habit-forming. Farewell, Great Macedon came out in November of 2010, so it's exactly five years too late!

Bit of a mixed bag for me. I enjoyed it, but had to keep going back to catch the bits I missed (and there were a lot of "bits").
I liked the premise, but don't think we needed the "reveals" as the story could have worked quite happily without them.
Narration was very well done in this and seemed to flow better than previous ones. I thought Frazer nailed both parts, but sadly there's no getting away from the fact that Debra doesn't sound like a young Victoria anymore. I'd like to hear her as an older Victoria reminiscing, though.
I'll have another listen to it in a few weeks.
Cheers
Tony

It's utterly fantastic, and should put any doubts about narration from your mind.
