I too love The Impossible Planet and Satan Pit, but oddly these are the very things that put me off her. Well you have to at least clarify why.... I wish I could, it's just one of those odd things, I took an instant dislike to her and haven't liked her since. Maybe if I re-watched I'd get a better idea of why. All I do know is I saw her on The Robots box art and though ugh !

Well guess you could go watch again perhaps as am always saying your mood or frame of mind was off a rewatch and relisten always helps. At least if only to confirm you just don’t really like her.😂

But as it stands at the moment she won't be getting a Christmas card

DWM teases that the second set will feature involvement from The Robots of Death cast, including Pamela Salem. There is a rumour (when isn’t there) that Season 14 will be the next Tom Baker Blu-ray boxset. If true it should be out in the first half of 2020. That would be perfect timing for this second Robots set!

With a resurgence of this thread, I thought I'd go back and recheck the differences between the bundle and buying individually on CD in Aus. Turns out it's still cheaper by a few dollars to buy them separately (in the same order) than getting the bundle. So much for money-saving, eh?

Do we think BF may also make CorpseMarker as an audio? Or at the very least not contradict it?
We have confirmation that Ander Poul and Lish Toos are coming back in set 2.
With the actor that played Kiy Uvanov having passed, I wonder if they will recast for that role and include the character?
Other CorpseMarker characters who could conceivably populate the world... Layly Landerchild Cailio Techlan Padil Diss Patter Stenton Rull Mor Tani And maybe, just maybe Carnell? :-)

Sounds very promising. I am really looking forward to this. Liv is awesome. And now she has a chance to shine on her own and being as bada$$ as we have come to expect of her.

It does sound good and not only gives us more Liv independent of the Doctor but also expands the Kaldor society here we have all these Doctors stories where we visit a planet which has its own history and Future but we rarely go back to travel the planets timelines.

Sounds very good, and not a Doctor or River in sight. Added to my Christmas list.

I have loved every Kaldor story, on TV or on audio. I'm really looking forward to this set.

I adored the Robots of Death, but never heard Robophobia. Actually, the only Liv stories I'd heard were in Doom Coalition 1 - liked her, but was never invested enough to continue with the series (including the Ravenous stuff during which this is apparently set). This sounds interesting, though. I'll keep an eye out for reviews; hopefully it's something you can jump into without needing to have heard other stories.

You should listen to Robophobia someday if you get the chance, it's one of the better Briggs scripts actually.

I recently wondered who my favorite female companions were and Liv easily made it to the top 5 with Donna, Evelyn, Benny and Jo. Even before I knew Liv would be in Dark Eyes and become an actual companion, I just loved her in Robophobia and wanted her to become an official companion at some point. Let's just say I was not disappointed.
