Still, whatever one took away from the final scene, I think Bradley gave a good, vulnerable performance there. Ditto during his 'nightmare' with Grace in the office, though it's hard not to compare it with the same basic scene from Away, and well, it's not quite as good. Sullivan did such a great job elsewhere, but here, it felt a bit lacking in mood and tension.
I do like that, like with the memories scene in Arachnids, the show is playing more with the idea that difficult things take time to deal with, even when you've ostensibly 'faced them', and it doesn't come with a one-size solution. It adds a layer of believability to Graham and feels less like the usual 'character has arc and has a clear, 'that's it' change' that is the norm in TV drama.

Consolidated figures for the latter part of this series are actually lowe than the overnights for the majority of last series. A real shame that more people aren't enjoying these stories.
